28-Day Residential Placement at Activity Care Ltd
At Activity Care Ltd, we offer focused 28-day residential placements designed to provide stability, assessment, and therapeutic engagement for children and young people aged 8 to 18. These short-term, structured placements are ideal for crisis intervention, emergency accommodation, or as a transitional bridge while longer-term plans are developed.
Our 28-day programme is delivered within a nurturing, high-staffed environment—with 2:1, 3:1, or even 4:1 care ratios available—ensuring intensive support and close monitoring. Each child receives a tailored care plan based on their needs, behaviours, and emotional wellbeing, created in collaboration with the placing authority and multi-agency professionals.
During their stay, children benefit from a consistent daily routine, therapeutic activities, and personalised key work sessions. Our experienced team conducts comprehensive assessments of emotional, behavioural, social, and risk-related factors, offering valuable insights for future placement planning or care decisions.
We create an environment where children can feel safe, stabilised, and respected. Our goal is not only to respond to immediate needs but to help young people regulate, reflect, and begin to re-engage with themselves and those around them—however brief their stay.
